This post describes how we handle your rental security amount
You pay the security upfront with the rent. Both of them have to be paid along with your signing of the rental agreement before we ship your rentals to you.
You hold your Silent-Disco-Dance-Party and have more fun than you ever imagined! Your friends beg you to do another party as soon as you can!
Once you pack up your rentals and get them back into the hands of FedEx, you begin to wonder how soon you will get your security back.
In order to get your security back to you as quickly as possible, the first thing we do is check your package’s tracking numbers on the FedEx website.
Let’s say that your rentals are due to arrive back home on Friday.
Once your rentals come back to us, we have to “check them in.” -Basically we count them and check for damage.
If any headsets are missing or damaged beyond repair, We deduct $45 per headphone from your security.
Assuming they are all there, then we don’t deduct anything from the security.
Once your headphones are checked in, we return your security immediately.
When we return your security, we write you an email saying that we did it.
Also, you will get a notification from the transaction company. (PayPal, Venmo, Credit Card, etc) After that notification, it can take a few days for the money to cleardepending on the platform.
Typically we are able to check in your headphones the same day that they arrive back to us. (In your case that will be Friday)
On a rare occasion when it is during a particularly busy time of year, it may a few days to get your rentals checked in – especially for larger orders. But, I will definitely let you know what is going on by Friday Evening.
In the majority of cases, we are able to return your security on the same day your rentals come back
Looking for new and creative ways to get kids excited about attending your events? We share how silent disco can help your outreach.
Events have always been one of the best ways to raise community awareness and interest in your church. But if you want to attract young people, you need something that feels fresh and relevant to their age group.
You also want something that is a bit unusual so it will be easier to get people’s attention and be more shareable on social media.
Give them Silent Disco. It is new, it is trendy, it is hip and most importantly, it is beyond fun!
Because Silent Disco will feels contemporary and exciting to your participants, the good news that they hear at your event will also feel more contemporary and exciting.
In uniqueness alone, silent disco will be more memorable and will give your participants more to more to talk about when they get home.
One of the most important elements of outreach programs is to give your congregation a story that is easy and fun to talk about. Silent disco can do that for you because it is so new and exciting.
Fellowship is enhanced through sharing new experiences like Silent Disco!
People connect best when shared experiences are combined with shared interests and conversations. Silent Disco can be one of those experiences.
Many people tell us they had more fun at Silent Disco than they’ve had in months!
Is there a more powerful testimony for a shared experience? Is there a more fertile ground for fellowships to grow and for relationships to deepen? Is there a better way to strengthen communities and to grow new ones than through shared laughter and fun?
Silent Disco works where a traditional DJ can’t.
Often youth-group retreats are at a location or time where a traditional DJ would disturb other people in the area because they are too loud.
Silent Disco is -well, …silent. You can have your event in your backyard, in a park, in an urban apartment, in a library, or on the street! All of the loud music is in the headphones!
Each headphone has its own volume control.
For all of its silence, it is not just rising trend that the young people really love, it is also a rising trend that oldsters really love- albeit for different reasons.
The youth love it because they can have the music as loud as they want and the oldsters love it because they can have the music as soft as they want.
The three channel nature of the headphones, gives your guests more music to choose from and more of the music they love.
Also, because we offer three channels of music, each channel can be a different music style. One for each demographic in your group.
Silent disco makes it easier for you to control the music they hear.
If you don’t have a good christian DJ on staff, it can be difficult to match the music with your message.
The silent disco game changer is the your ability to use playlists that you have tailor-made for your event. Now you can choose specific music that resonates with your message.
While the silent disco headphone systems work well with a DJ, they also work well with streaming playlists from Spotify or your favorite streaming service.
Streaming playlists make it easier for leaders to control the musical content. You supply the streaming music from your phone, tablet or laptop.
Silent Disco gives you more options of locations because we have a fully battery powered option available.
Now you can have your event in a park or campground where there is no electrical outlets.
Since the headphones are battery powered and you can use your battery powered cell phone to stream an automated playlist, battery powered transmitters are the capstone that allows you to work completely off the grid!
Both the headphones and the transmitters will operate ten hours on a single charge. Make sure your cell phone is on a full charge before you start and you are good to go!
Our battery powered option also has a microphone attached, so you have the option of mixing message with music, directing an activity or presenting the Gospel through the headphones
Ask us specifically if you want the battery powered transmitters because we also have the regular kind.
Here is a video showing how the battery powered transmitters work:
*Important to know: The Silent Disco system does not need WiFi. The transmitters generate their own FM signal which is received by the headphones.
**Remember that you will need a cell phone signal if you are streaming music from the Internet.
